Description: Cocamidopropyl betaine (CAPB) is an amphoteric surfactant that behaves as an anionic agent in alkaline media and as a cationic agent in acidic media. It provides good softening, bacteriostatic, detergent and foaming properties and is non-irritating to eyes and mucous membranes.
