CETEARYL ALCOHOL 50/50
Description: Nonionic emulsifying and thickening agent composed of a 50/50 blend of cetyl alcohol and stearyl alcohol used to improve texture, stability and emollient properties in cosmetic formulations.

| Applications | Skin care creams and lotions, moisturizing and anti-aging products, hair conditioners and masks, bath gels, liquid soaps, cream deodorants and cosmetic makeup products. |
| Recommended Usage | 1 – 10% depending on formulation. Creams and lotions: 2 – 5%. Conditioners and hair masks: 1 – 3%. |
| Handling | Incorporate into the oil phase of emulsions and heat until completely melted before mixing with the aqueous phase during emulsification. |
| Storage | Store in a cool, dry place protected from direct light and heat sources. |
