• It is an organic acid component of the Natural Moisturizing Factor (NMF), originating from the hydrolysis of glutamic acid.
• Reduces excess sebum by inhibiting the activity of the DHT enzyme (Dihydrotestosterone, a testosterone metabolite), leaving a feeling of freshness and cleanliness.

• Inhibits AP-1 activity, a promoter of collagenase (the enzyme responsible for collagen degradation, causing the appearance of wrinkles).
